Just wanted to say hello to everyone on this site. I have been keeping small tropical fish for a couple of years now and have been happy doing so, although I always had the thought that I wanted to keep different fish in time. Well.... this morning I was offered a new bigger tank including all the fish. From what I remember the tank had a big Oscar, big Parrot, several smaller Parrots, a large plec, a large silver shark and some smaller fish that were all hiding at the time. I have been looking at various sites to find out all I can about these fish, as previously I knew nothing. It all makes very interesting reading. Funny really I was always happy with my small community fish but now I feel very exited about getting my new tank and fish. Should happen in the next few days. Just got to move the existing tank into another room ready. Hopefully if I run into any trouble there will be someone on here to help. Look forward to being part of your community.
