Hi guys,
I Stumbled across this website via Google and had to register. My real interest in fish keeping began when I got my first ever job at Maidenhead Aquatics, within a month I had learnt so much about the different types of fish and how to care for them. A couple of months after getting my job I bought my first tank, a cold water 28Litre AquaOne 320. I had a common goldfish, 3 Zebra Danios, an Algae Eater and was chuffed to bits!
Towards the end of my time at Maidenhead Aquatics, I received a 60liter Fluval Elite tank. It's currently set up with the same fish that were in my 28Liter with the addition of 3 more Zebra Danio's. I've had the same fish for a year and they're all happy and healthy.
Throughout my time at MA, I always had a soft spot for Green Spotted Puffers. Their inquisitive and playful nature charmed me but I didn't know much about brackish water and general care for them. Besides, my parents wouldn't let me buy a second tank
. After finding a better paid job and a nagging at my parents. I've read countless books and web pages within the last few weeks and I believe I'm ready to set up my first brackish water tank. It would consist of a Fluval Roma 90 Liter tank with a single GSP. I'm currently planning on having the tank set-up by next Thursday as soon as my wage slip comes through
.
I look forward to getting my tank and learning more about these amazing fish and I hope these forums can help turn me from a standard fish keeper to a monster fish keeper
