hi fellas...

i recently set-up my 4ftx2x2 tank and i haf the intentions of keeping a knife fish wif 2 of my channa bleheris... tapping on the expertise of you guys would u mind giving me some advise on wad breed of knives here i could do as tank mates wif the bleheris... i'm looking 4ward 2 hearing response and suggestions...

thanx and cheers...

You should probably go with smaller african knives such as the browns these are more boisterous and will stand up to any aggresion from the channas you could probably have a bgk but it might be a bit risky.

Alot of people that view are not members X(. Depends on what size fish you want

Bgk are really pussy and would get eaten later on by your channa bleheris. Its a non aggressive fish that grows insanely slow.

The brown african knifes are really the one of the smallest knifes other then the bgk which are the smallest of the knifes, With the type of "tankbuster" fish you have id recommend either a royal or normal clown knife.

Most importantly a royal and Reg Clownknife will keep up with the growth schedule of your channa bleheris. And are insanely hard to kill after 1 year old. Means you can miss water changes feedings for a month~ and they will be will be waiting for you pissed but alive.

In fact i havent done a water change in over 3 years and i add straight tap water to the Clown knife tank to top it off. Yes ima bastard. But these are nasty fish that can handle that kinda treatment

Heres a link for more info on one

I'd go with some African Brown Knives (Xenomystus Nigri). They don't get too big and aren't aggressive at all. They're very well mannered fish.

agreed African Brown is the way to go. i might even pick one up next time i see one for sale :naughty:
