Hi Peeps,

This one really has me stumped now.

My Hi-Fin refuses to eat, at the very least, he doesn't even seem interested during feeding time. Other than his lack of eating, he shows NO other signs of sickness. He's still quite active and swims normally, etc .

I have tried just about all the food types that I can think of already.
Tetra bites, vegetable matter, bloodworms, white mussle meat, prawns, even some malawi mix. I have tried feeding at different times of the day & night as well.

All my other fish are eating fine, including my 5 Iridescent Sharks.

Any ideas guys ?

Hey boet. Dont stress man iv got three of the buggers & sometimes they can be fussy. Iv found that if û try raw fish he should chow. Mine go made 4 the stuff. Check your water, when was the last time û did a change?

I have four Paroon Sharks. I put flooting pallets and they eat like crazy.
2 of them start from 2" inches and now they are 2 feets.

In your case, I assume the water parameter is fine. Just give them sometime to
settle down they will eat soon.

If after 1 week they still don't eat, they maybe too stressed. Mine developed ick after 2 weeks. He died. Next I try again. Next I tries having concealing vegetations on the bottom. Seems to work. U don't get to see them much though. U can remove the veg when he grows up and are used to their new environment.
