Hi found this creature in my tank anyone know what it is??????

hi ive found this random creature in my tropical freshwater tank, i have never seen it before and havent added anything to my tank in about 3 months only water change, anyone know what it is and where it came from and can i expect anymore?

It almost looks like a dragonfly or damselfly nymph.

i think its a damselfly nymph how the hell it got in my tank i do not know, bet it had a feild day with my shrimp tho

I saw something similar in a feeder guppy tank at the pet store.The worker didn't know what it was but he wouldn't sell it to a customer who expressed interest in it.

its definetly a damselfly nympth we see them in my pond all the time
a dragonfly nymph is not as elongated and fatter

Yes damselfly nympth haven't seen one in quite awhile. They will eat small fish as was said so get rid of it or keep an eye on it unless your fish are bigger than it.

Ive taken it out and put it in my friends pond now, lucky no fish have gone but pretty sure its had a few of my nano shrimp
Still havent got a clue how it managed to get in my tank
