Hi everyone,

I live in Darwin in Australia's tropical north. Freshwater fish life here is exceptional, around the house in the local creeks (all native to here) we have:

Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia australis/splendida, M. nigrans, M trifasciata)
Empirefish (Hypseleotris compressa)
Archerfish (Toxotes lorentzii, T. chatareus)
Delicate Blue eyes (Pseudomugil tenellus)
Spotted Blue Eyes (P. gertrudae)
Blueback Blue Eyes (P. cyanodorsalis)

...and a heap more. In an easy drive the list jumps up to include

Blackmast (Craterocephalus stramineus)
Threadfin Rainbowfish (Iriathernia werneri)
and more Rainbows.

So I am blessed with native stocks of all of these and more. I like photography, and my website reflects this very much.

I have two major problem areas that I need to fix:

1. Reflection off the glass

2. Good quality flash lighting- how-to.

I'll begin with a couple of shots...

main.php

Barramundi- Lates calcarifer

main.php

Undescribed hardyhead? Craterocephalus sp?

main.php

Blackmast - Craterocephalus stramineus

main.php

Black Striped Ranibowfish - Melanotaenia nigrans

main.php

Hyrtl's catfish - Neosilurus hyrtili

main.php

Sevenspot Archerfish - Toxotes chatareus

So I would like to make results more consistent, especially with smaller fish and tougher shots. I am also willing to help out others where I can.

Cheers, and I'll surely bump into a few of you around the site from time to time.
