I've been getting interested in N. American native fish lately, and MFK forums kept coming up in web searches...such good info, pictures, friendly people...I just had to join.
So, hi from the new guy in Kentucky. I've got a green sunfish and a warmouth (probably about 3") in a 45 that used to be a tropical community tank. There's still an angelfish and some cory cats in there.
I caught the warmouth and the green sunny in a nearby lake that has the obligatory stocked lake suite: LMB, SMB (supposedly), bluegill, redear, greenies, warmouth, and channel cats. Supposedly flatheads, too, although I've never seen anyone catch one there.
Anyway, I'm glad to be a member. This seems like a great group.
