Hey, im New To This forum my name is Dylan Im 14 years Old (inb4hate) I've been having interest in fish since i was 12 i used to keep Tiger Oscars And Red Belly pacu's and i lost interested In oscars and pacu's the i wanted a new fish this is when i got into aggressive fish Like Red belly piranhas and carbies i been wanting them since i was 12 and it dissapoints me because there Illegal in Ny witch is dumb because i live literally 3 minutes from P.A if i wanted them that bad when im 16 i could have someone order them from P.A and i could pick them up but im not the kinda person that likes to break the law and they cant survive our winters theres a park with a river in it that people have caugh piranhas so im interested in getting other fish i currently Got a baby alligator gar thats atleast 3-5 inches he cost me 21 dollars and he's in a 55 gallon for now im going to upgrade to 150+ then im going to try to get a Vampire Tetra Fish Because My local LFS can order them for me and there 35 dollars each it dissapoints me that P's are illegal ik alot of information about fish Like arowanas,exodons,piranhas,peakcockbass,charicans or whatever there called im mature for my age even though im 14 if anyone needs help with something feel free to shoot me a Pm im hoping to meet nice people im sure i will this seems like a nice forum -Dylan

Hello and welcome to MFK. I'm from nh where piranha are legal and always wondered why every border state had piranhas illegal... Better safe than sorry but whatever. Piranha aren't the killing machines a lot of people believe them to be anyways.
