Hello, Just thought I would join to see what kind of neat fish I can get for my 55 gallon tank. About a year ago I got a so called red belly pacu and need to get rid of him. I was told he was a regular phirahna and dont have the space in my apartment for a bigger tank. He is about 13" long right now.

Anybody know anybody that I could sell this fish too? Or have any logical idea's as to what to do? Thanks
 
Welcome for the pacu see if there's a local fish store that will take him as a donation for them to resell. Or post an ad here online hoping someone needs a pacu. But they are terribly hard to get rid of.

Again on a more positive note welcome..
 
Pacu are great fish to keep but you should part with him ASAP before he gets any larger. A LFS is probably your best bet.

Thanks for the welcome guys. The Pacu is neat I swear he has a personality. But he is way to big for my 55 gallon.
