Hi,
I am new to the forum, and I thought I would just post and say hello to everyone. I am relatively new to fishkeeping, but not a total beginner. I have been in the hobby about two years now. I currently have five tanks set up and an outdoor pond. I keep African, CA, and SA Cichlids as well as lots of communtiy fish and bettas. This looks like a cool forum and I am really looking forward to getting to know everyone :)

hi! welcome to mfk! im sure you will love it here. im always learning new stuff everyday. nice list of tanks you got there :) how big is your pond and what do you have in it?

Thanks :) This seems like a pretty cool forum because when I was looking through it before it seems like everyone keeps really diverse groups of fish. My pond is a small container pond, only 55 gallons (its acually an old tank that had a broken rim, so it couldn't hold a lid). I would love a big koi pond, but since I live in an apartment, that's pretty much out of the question right now ;) I have three fancy goldfish in there and they are doing great. The pond is heavily planted with water lillies, java fern, and anacharis. I'll try to get some pics once the lillies really start to grow.
