Hey everyone, the names Bryan, Im relatively new to the whole fish keeping scene and have been lurking around the form for a little while reading up on info, so I finally decided to say hello. I have kept fish years ago when i didn't have internet and have made some newbie mistakes like mixing species that shouldnt have been mixed i.e. a pacu, needle nose and a couple gouramis.
I come from a reptile backround (keeping, breeding) alot of different species since i was about 11 years old and have kept most of the common reptiles sold for pets.
I currently have a 60 gallon semi-planted with just some community fish, and am having some trouble deciding whether i want to hang the t5 with no canopy or keep the canopy and intall a fan inside to keep it cool. look forward to getting some knowledge from all you guys/gals.
and if you are anything like the reptile forums i know you guys are pic crazy so i'll try to get some up of my setup. (Its kind of ghetto though).
