I have just joined this forum after having referenced some of the interesting posts before.
I have two ponds in Thailand, one (40mx40m) has been established for some time with many wild tilapia and a few Striped catfish. Over the past year I have introduced two redtails, two arowana and just recently two arapaima and some Mekong cat fish. The arowana look great swimming near the surface and are now about 80cm long, the others I have not seen as the water is a bit murky and hopefully they are swimming a bit further. The other pond (recently cut) is U shaped with sides 45m long and about 8m wide. Already, the tilapia have appeared from nowhere but that is all so far.
