just joined this site today due to many people recommending
it to me
well im moving house in 2 days time and will be looking forward to setting up my new juwel rio 180 litre aquarium next week.
i brought it secondhand from a guy selling it off gumtree for £90 bargain.
i brought it a little while ago but thought it was best to wait and set it up when i have moved house instead of the added stress of breaking it down etc etc.
i have had a tank before which was just a little 60litre.
so thought id go a bit bigger this time.
i loved keeping fish
so i decided to start it up again since i stopped keeping my 60litre, as i have more time now.over the last few months i have been buying bits for it and so far i have.
fluval 305 external filter
2 x 200w heater (1 for the tank other to heat up water when doing water change)
2 x buckets
2x air stones with elite air pump
8kg bag of natural coloured gravel
2 x pieces of medium sized bogwood (looking forward to soaking it)(not lol)
3 x fake moss balls
4 x fake plants
flake food
pellet food

freshwater api liquid water test kit
stress zyme
stress coat
some pots for hiding
digital thermometer
glass thermometer (i feel its good to have 2)
gravel syphon
magnetic glass cleaner
i have also brought a small clearseal 10 gallon tank £10 from ebay lol which i will use as a quarentine/hospital tank which has a 150w heater,and a small sponge filter , airstone and pump,and some pvc pipe for hiding places.
is there anything i have forgotten????????????????????????????
i will be so greatful for any help throughout my new setup.
im more excited about setting the tank up than moving lol
i will be cycling it fishless by using house hold ammonia.i like to do it this way.
i will post throughout the tanks progress and post pics throughout too.
