Hey guys,

New to your site, I'm a member of ultimatebettas.com and they referred me to your site as I have some questions that they were unsure of regarding Hifin Sharks and Irridescent catfish/sharks co-habitating.

I'll post that in a section once I find it lol.

I started off with the petstore betta years back and that ended up turning into a head count of 50 bettas shipped from overseas, mostly HMPK dragons with some HM dragons and a doubletail or two. Bred a few of them and sold most besides the ones I couldn't part with lol.

Current count now is about 35ish, might breed again but my stock is old now and I don't think I could bare to give any up to make room for the newbies!

I also have 2 green tiger barbs, 3 Irridescent sharks and 2 powder blue balloon rams, a friend of mine realized he couldn't care for the sharks and rams shortly after purchasing them so I opted to take them in with my barbs. Come to find out the catfish get rather large, 3' :0, and the balloon rams are bred horrifically to get to the balloon shape :/

Oh well, I eventually wanted to get some sharks and a big tank so that happened sooner than expected lol. The rams will have a good home, seem healthy and no issues currently, 2 of the sharks are about 5-6in's in length and 1 is about 2.5in's, the little guy eats well but hasn't grown like the other guys for some reason.
I have them in a 50gallon tank and they will soon move to a 120 gallon tank, I'll be leaving the rams and barbs in the 50gallon though, I want to purchase some Hifin sharks and seperating them would be a good idea, lol.

Anyways, that was quite the long novel, looking forward to meeting others on here and learning more about the sharks :)
