my 1st female pdr is the smalles of all, about 5 inch disc diameter.
the 2nd female pdr is the 2nd in size, about 5+ inch disc diameter.
the male pdr is the largest of all 3 leos, he is about 6 inch disc diameter.
the male sakura/flower ray is the largest of all the 4 rays, he is abuot 7-8 inches..
they all eat greedily on live ghost shrimps (very expensive to feed them as main diet coz they eat alot and also live ghost shrimps are more expensive then dead market prawns), but i am training them hard to eat market prawns, coz it saves alot of money.
Currently, only the 2nd female leo eats mp like a pig (but rejects frozen bloodworm totally), the male leo is starting to accept mp too (and eats abit of frozen bw). Where else the 1st female leo and the sakura eats greedily only on live ghost shrimps and frozen bloodworm. but stubbornly refuses mp.
stupid rays, all 4 of them got different character and food taste.. i am waiting for the day where i can feed mp to all of them.. wahhaha
i dont want to feed feeder fish, as cant bear to watch the rays tear them up. And also, i am afraid once they taste feeder fish, they wont want to eat mp. Currently, i am trying to starve them off live shrimps(havent feed them live ghost shrimps for a week already, just once in a while dead shrimps i find in the holding tank together with mp). No feeder fish, only shrimps and mp, as they come from the same family, so hopefully they will learn to eat mp. So now its either they eat frozen bloodworms, or accept mp if they want something tastier and meatier..
