Hi guys. Kindly help me cure my gulper catfish. Here's the photo. I dont know how to treat it

Would qt the fish if not already done. Post ur water parameters.

Add maracyn2 and API fungus cure. Methylene blue dip once a day for 7 days.

The eye is likely lost. But hope it won't worsen or lead to death.
 
can you pull him out of the water. rub the area gently with a q tip to debride. I would apply dilute betadine daily

this is my first time setting up a tank and owning a fish. Thats why i dont know where to buy a device to check water parameters. And also my lfs doesnt sell stuffs like that. Only fish and fish food. I'll start looking for some pet stores who has it tomorrow. Is it contagious? Coz my other gulper is starting to have it. And from whisker decay its already crawling up to his eye to.
 
Cant really touch the gulper coz its trying to bite me when i do so. And its my first time owning a fish. Dont really know if i have the knowledge to cure him out of the water using my hands and a q tip. I might worsen it coz i dont have the experience to do so.
 
If the other gulper has it, then it sounds like bad ammonia burns due to uncycled tank. It's not contagious but other fish will have it due to poor water conditions.
 
So i should just do wc everyday. I have a test kit now. I'd post readings later. Thank you for helping mate
 
Hi guys. Updating my post. My gulper already shows signs of improvement. Will be using melafix to treat the last wounds coz my mb starting to mess up my water cycle. Here's my water parameters. Ph 7.4-7.6. Ammonia .25-.5ppm. Nitrite 0 ppm. Im using api master test kit. And also im using api quick start after water change.
