hi guys need some advice

i have a 2 female motoro,4.5 inches and a 6.5 inches housed in a 180 gals.the tankmates are 2 butterfly plecos 5` and 4 cichla orino from 6 to 8 inches..last week i traded my orino for 2 months pup male motoro and he is housed in 10 gal tank.can i put my male motoro in my com.tank?is my male going to be ok?in my com tank theres no aggresion between the rays and orino..tia.

Yes those females are fairly small so you should be able to put the pup with them. Just going to have to keep an eye on him and make sure he gets enough food. Will definitely be better than leaving him in a 10 gallon tank.

You should be aware that those plecos will sometimes suck on a ray which is very bad for the ray. I would suggest moving them to the 10G or at the very least keeping a close eye on them.

i would possibly take the plecos out of the main tank, and definitely move the male either to the main tank or something larger than 10 gallons. but it should be safe to keep the together. I have a 3.5-4" hystrix with my 5.5-6" retic

tnx for the advice guys..ill put the pup on my 50 gals for a month...just to be safe and move the plecos in the pond..
