Hi I bought a indo dat last night

When I bought him he was pretty much black when I got him home he had started to go back gold on the front half and still dark to black on the back half he was in a 3x1x1 when I picked him up with about twenty guarmis. He is now in a 5x2x2 with one silver aro at about 20 inch. He has been swimming around happily n seems ok I just wondered if it will go back full colour.

You can never tell when a dat will be stable or not, he may stable up he may not, just 've grateful he is swimming around and not sulking in the corner. Give him a few days to settle and it wil give you a better idea how stable he is

Yeah from what ive been reading it looks very common in the iT. He doesnt have any hiding places as tank is bare would he benefit from one

I found all tigers to be pretty much the same, sum are stable sum are not, only time will tell. I don't give my tigers nowhere to hide try and bring them out into the tank as much as possible

Ahh thats good. Like I say hes swimming around alot. Dont think he has eaten yet I think my aro eat all the floating pellets would I b better with sinking ones. Although aro eats them to thr fatty lol

Yeah better with sinking pellet, dats are very picky eaters try him on prawn or muscle if he wont touch pellet
