2 4" tiger oscars, tricker has been in 38g at least 6 months, trying to put another 4" in with him (walmart), ive tried walmart in, they fought so i took him out, then took them both out, rearranged the tank, older one was out for a total of about 20 min then put them both back in at the same time, it was ok for a while then tricker started going after him again, seperated them again, next idea is take tricker out, put the walmart in for a day or so, then put the older one back in? not sure though need advice.

remove the one thats showing aggression and let the other one get established or take all the decor out and both the oscars for a little, then put them back in at the same time and put the decor back in a little later. however, my guess is that the aggressor won't actually hurt the other one, but is just telling it who's the boss, so to speak.

I agree with Pwmin.
Re-arrange decor.
As long as there's no blood shed its just working out the heirachry(sp).
I do hope you have a bigger tank in the future though, not neccessarily has to be a 125gal
but as always, bigger is better.
Remember to do tests for nitrates as O's are messy fishes.
Plenty of water changes within the week to keep parameters in check.
Good luck.

For 3 oscars, you probably do need a 125 at least. Maybe a 120 would work...have you had an oscar in a 38 for 6 months and its 4 inches? How big was it when you got him?

in 6 months it should be close 8 inches man. those fish are stunted, big time. get a 120 now, or very soon. or give the fish to someone who can take care of them

thanks i will try that i seperated them again and im getting a 10 gallon ready temporarily for tricker and then putting walmart in the 38 for a day or so then putting tricker back in, i think this way walmart will be able to adjust for a little, hes not as aggressive as tricker
