Well I started with a pet smart tank, filled it on day one and loaded it up...you know the testimony from there. killed all my fish a couple times and was going to hang it up then decided to sit and learn. Applying my learning has taking me from a 10 gallon to 29, 75 and most recently a 125 in just 6 months. It seems like everyday I’m learning something new and I just love every aspect of the hobby and lifestyle.

I’m 46 and moved from California to Mississippi so if anyone is in the state please let’s meet up! I’m like a sponge and just want to soak up everything I can learn.

thanks for having me

ps I mostly keep new world cichlids but love just about anything that lives in water ?

Welcome to the fishy family!

Usually takes a couple years for MTS to kick in. Must me an outbreak in Mississippi as of late. Up to three 125s myself. When you can post up some pics!

got this 125 from a local restaurant for $150. It looked like trash. But I cleaned it up. Resiliconed it. Tested it over and over and this is the final result below.

on the 75 im running a fx4, hang on the back and two sponge fileter. the 125 is running my fluval 407 (not quite good enough i know), a hang on the back and two sponge filters. Im going for a little over kill so I can have seasoned filter media galore...i hope lol and yes i understand all my decorations is a total noob move but they'll all come out as the fish get bigger...although i still would like to do a retro tank with decorations from circa 1960's i think that would be fun to do in like a 10 gallon =)

Welcome. I have learned a ton of information from this forum. I just have to listen without my own agenda getting in the way. I found that I didn't even know how much I didn't know. It's all here.
Thank you! Absolutely! For me I don’t have a clue as to what I’m doing...and once I do I learn another variable that shows I haven’t even begun to learn ? ugh it’s part of the good ride...if you can hang on ? but I’m loving it even all the lessons even the expensive lessons ?
