Hi, I'm a new member, obviously http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/images/icons/icon6.png . Unfortunately I have committed a mistake and got excited buying fish without taking any consideration and help from fish keepers, I currently have a 8" paroon shark, 7.5" red pacu, 3" baby rtc, 5" bichir and an 9" albino bichir (given to me by my cousin), the rough truth is they are on a 15g tank http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.png and i am planning on putting up a 100 gallon tank by September this year, question is will they survive for that long? I have the PS and RBP for 3mos, 2wks for RTC, new bichirs and they are healthy based on sensory observation, I am from QC, Philippines, any kababayan who can sell me 100+g tank?

Hoping to be part of MFK and share anything helpful to you guys!

They will be to big for a 100 gallon by the time of september...

welcome to mfk.. please put an ad in market place here on MFK after you have 5 posts.. not here as the lounge and intro areas do not count towards post count.. good luck getting a bigger tank..

Wow...all these fish are monster growers, and while petsmart and fish stores tell you they are good for a 15 gallon, they are not. I suggest if you cant build a pond in the future, sell the pacu, rtc, and paroon shark while theyre small. Then throw the bichirs in that 100 gallon, preferably not in semptember, preferably now, and put in a few other fish.

Thanks, Id probably take your advice fish042099 and yup, due to innocence and a bit sales talk Ive been cornered in this situation, sadly I am not the only victim but the fishes too, I just hope that there is someone near our place who'd be willing to buy them.. Thanks red devil for welcoming. =)
