Was just wondering if a 75G is big enough to start out with a young spotted gar?

I will be okay for a while but they can get bigger then 18 inches do the width of your tank won't do forever but to start off with its fine

A 75 will last a little while. You should grow out the gar by stepping up the tank size as it grows. OI would recomend that you read the stickies in the gar subforum under ancient fish for more information.

For a little while, they get too big as adults though
