Hi Fellow MFK members,
My name is Steve and I am new to this site...but, have been keeping monster fish since 1998. Oscars, Vieja, Pacu (dumb mistake), Gar, Acara, JD's, etc. I have been out of the hobby for the last 2 years and am getting back into it now.
I am putting together a 125 gallon with 2 FX5's, (all of which I already have). I am planning to order a Synspilum from Jeff Rapps in the next 6-7 weeks....and am cycling a 40gallon currently as a grow out tank until it is big enough to place into the cycled 125gallon. My plan is just one big Synspilum in the 125gallon and leave it at that.
Just wanted to say hello to all and that this is a great community.
