Hi all thought I would give a brief history of my fish keeping. I've been fish keeping for 5 years, started with a 100 ltr the usual suspects community tank. I quickly moved on to Kribs which soon meant 5 tanks full of fry. Sold up all tanks and fish and bought a 260 ltr bow front tank, this tank has been a high tec planted with a large shoal of conga tetras for a while, then a rainbow fish set up.
Then I took the road to Discus. I started out with 6 young Asian bred discus in the same fully planted 260 ltr tank, the plants didn't really help with raising young discus so out went the co2, all the wood & plants, and all the sand. As a bare bottom tank the discus all grew to a great size, over the last 2 years I have added a second 220 ltr tank to my collection as well as another 3 Asian discus, but now I am going down the true bio-tope route, my main tank has been going through lots of slow little changes getting it ready for some true wild discus, I'm probable 30% done right now, the wild discus should arrive in about 3 weeks. I will be picking you guys brains over the next few months, I going to need help getting the choice of cory river correct and what tetra if any would live in the chosen bio-tope.
Oh by the way my name is Brian, the name Sosbanfach is in honour of my favourite rugby team and is a reference to a welsh language song the fans sign.

Brian
