So i just came from TTF forum, just came because i need some help with monster stuff!! First off im 14 years old and I have 5 tanks
  • 40 gallon exo terra for my albino corn snake oscar,
  • 10 gallon for baby endlers, baby rabbit snails, nerite snails
  • 55 gallon with 5 elephant nose fish, L204, 4 panda corys, 1 RTS
  • 75 gallon with a ornate bichir, endcherlichi bichir, a sengal bichir, a 12" BGK, a asian leaf fish, and 3 tire track eels
  • and what i believe to be a 20 gallon tub, with a marbled crayfish and a betta
So what i need help with, im getting a 300 gallon tank and need some help on stocking and equipment
I want to have these fish
  • 12" BGK
  • 3 end bichirs
  • 3 snegal bichirs
  • 1 ornate bichir
  • 2 asian leaf fish
  • 2 tiger datnoids
  • 3 tire track eels
  • 1 fire eel
  • 2 geophagus jurapari
  • And maybe 2 royal plecos, or two cool large plecos
Id like to do planted maybe just driftwood with java fern, anubis, and moss, i know rooted plants wouldnt be good for these fish
I need to know good lighting, filtration, heaters, substrate, driftwood, rocks, more or less stock?
Sorry for the loads of questions, thanks ahead for any answered! :)

I wouldn't get plecos if your going to have bichirs. That mix usually never ends well.

Why? do they eat their slime coat? What good algae eaters could i keep with these guys then? I think snails might get eaten by the eels, and inverts are totally out of the question. I know algae shouldnt be controlled by fish, but i dont plan on having crrazy algae blooms just want to keep any forming algae from staying.

Yeah they suck on the slime coat and make the bichir more susceptible to infection. If you do get algae on the glass you could get an algae scrapper.

Could i add some sort of large pure freshwater pufferfish, or is there such a thing?

I'm not sure theres a large fresh puffer that would be good with your stock. Most of what I've read is that both MBU's and fahaka's don't do well with tank mates.

I saw this one big predator tank, with a fhaka puffer, elephant nose fish, catfish, and i think even some bichirs, trying to find the video.

Cant find it. :( But yea i guess i wont get that either

Sometimes there are cases like that where things that aren't supposed to work out end up working out better than expected. However cases like that aren't very often and have the possibility of ending up being a very costly decision.
