Helllll-oohhh evarrryboddhhyyy! I'm another noobie to MFK (duh) and hope to get to know some neat people and learn more about fishkeeping. As a kid we did everything wrong with our aquarium!! So now I'm starting all over, with a (blush) modest 10g in order to get acquainted with deathless fishkeeping (nothing like what I've seen here!). I've cycled it and have live plants, a lovely school of 6 head/tail light tetras (hence username) and a small applesnail. All is well so far with levels (I love using my test kit) and everyone looks healthy after 3 weeks. I am planning on moving up to a 30g and then 55g, for larger fishies--and will be looking for help if I can find it!!! This looks to be a great site--I've read postings, and ya'll seem real friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!!
Yup, I live in the South--North Carolina. So, hey, ya'll!!! (Jeez, I didn't mean to write a book LOL.) Oh, and I have 2 rescued dogs (a 110 lb boxer/lab puppy!!! heeelllpp), 1 rescued cat, 2 horses (well, AND a baby due April 12!!!!we girls want another girl) and they are all my children!! I teach art at a highschool, live on a Tennessee Walking Horse and Hackney Pony breeding farm (NOT MINE!!) in a beautiful part of the country. Air Force Brat. I only have rabbit ear antennae so I'm with the animals or internet most times. Okay, that's enough!! Oh, and what a sense of humor!! :screwy:

Hiya and welcome to MFK. You will feel right at home as we often seem to be a mix of pound puppies and kindergarteners.
