I have a 55 gal. cichlid tank 29 gal. community tank, 10 gal. fry tank and small koi pond. I have a rock that is perfect for stacking, but it has small gold flakes in it. Is it safe to use in tank?

I hear you can put a little water on the rock and if it bubbles, then it should not be used.
Personally I like to add "test" decor in a 5 gallon tank with some guppies and see if the guppies live. It will svae you from risking expensive fish.

Are you sure its water and not vinegar? One of them will react if its not safe...
