Hi there,
my name`s patrick and I`m from germany, near nuremberg. I`m 23 years old and a real cichlid fanatic. The genus' cichla and crenicichla are my special-district.
At the time I keep the following 4 cichla-species: C.ocellaris, C.temensis, C.monoculus and C. orinocensis. The ocellaris, which are between 12" and 13", swim together with a huge 16" pair of cichla monoculus in a 320gal tank. The temensis are about 10", the orinocensis 4" and both swim in different raising tanks.
Furthermore there are reams of other cichlids, such as astronotus, crenicichla, geophagus and heros, in our "flooded" basement, swimming in about 2000gal fragmented in about 25 tanks.
Awesome pics will follow.
I`m looking forward for really interesting conversations here on MFK!
Yours
Patrick
