Hello all. Just saying hi, I just registered today hoping I can find more useful information for my hobby.. I currently have a small setup with a few African cichlids a common pleco and surprisingly enough a rainbow shark and Tiger barb..I had 3 Tiger barbs I bought to cycle my tank they were from Walmart and given the track record for Walmart and their live stock's life expectancy I didn't think they would live very long but they all made it through the nitrogen cycle just fine I've only got one barb now because he beat up the other two so bad that they ended up passing away :-(. But the remaining one is doing great even getting along with the cichlids pretty well along with the rainbow shark.. I'm currently in the process of acquiring a larger setup (the new tank is going to be 90 gallons). I plan on having a very well stocked tank with plenty of filtration to support the bio-load.
