Hi folks,

I just found this forum via a post on the AGA web site. Glad I did.

I enjoy all sorts of photography, both aquatic and above the water... In fact, if anything, I spend more time with my cameras (or doing post processing on my computer!) than my tanks!

Hi guys, I would, but it says I can't post attachments, so I don't know how to share!

If you have your photos stored at a hosting site, you can copy the url from the photo's properties. Then paste it in your post here using the "image icon" (looks like a volcano
insertimage.gif
). When the image window opens, paste your url there. Your phooto will appear in your post where your cursor is. It should look like this in your text:

Currently, I only store my photos on my own computer (and back up external hard drive) Any way to post without using a host web site? (my forte is photography, not computers<g>)

If you HAVE to use a host web site, do you have any suggestions? I have occasionally used Shutterfly for very large prints and photo books that I can't do myself. Can you do that with their site?

I use Photobucket. It is great and very user friendly. You can host for free with certain limitations about image size and numbers of images. Or you can for the premium package which offers more space than you'll ever need, larger image sizes and no ads.

Welcome, Karen! I, too, look forward to your photos. I used to pay for Smugmug.com hosting, but haven't
had any problems, whatsoever, with the free Photobucket.com. :-)

Welcome to the forum, Karen. Good to see more aquatic gardeners on this site.

I have used photobucket in the past and have been happy with their free hosting (just make sure that your pictures don't exceed 250kb, otherwise they resize it).
