Hi Everyone :
My name is Tammy my hubby and I are new to the saltwater world our 55 gallon is about six month into cycling and we came on a good deal on a 75 gal tank 2 weeks ago. We are learning and I have been doing a lot of studies on salt water tank and appreciate any advice. We do think we have a pregnant shrimp it is a peppermint shrimp.
Our 55 gal tank consist of
1 clarkii clown
1 nemo clown, had 2 but lost one due to losing a tube anemone
2 yellow damsel
1 blue with yellow tail damsel
2 peppermint shrimp
1 phsuedochromis pink
1 watchman gobie
1 lawnmower blennie
2 condy anemones
1 sally lightfoot crab
1 featherduster polyp that came on our live rock when we bought it
50 lb live rock
1 inch crushed coral with sand
2 1100 powerheads wave makers
1 emperor 400 biowheels
1 fluval 204 cannister filter
1 red sea prism skimmer
1 oddesea 2 white 65watt lights 2 65watt blue lights and 4 lunar lights
with several hermit crab and snails
We have not equipted our 75 gallon with a skimmer yet just have a aquatech biofilter and 2 small heater this aquarium right now serves as a bully tank lol. We have a chocolate chip starfish who wouldnt leave our anemones alone,
a coral banded shrimp who also wouldnt leave anemones alone and a clarkii who started bullying our other clowns.
We did throw in some snails and hermit for purpose of cleaning
and we have an inch of crushed coral and sand and 15 lb of rock in this aquarium.
