Hi everyone, I joined yestrerday but have been looking around before introducing myself 
I have kept fish for 30 years now, started with a goldfish when I was 5. It is only in the last few years however that I have started getting interested in getting some good quality photo's of my fish.
I was using a Pentax Optio 330GS up until early this year when I got myself a Nikon D40. I got the package that came with the AF-S Nikkor 18-55 and AF-S Nikkor 55-200 lenses, I have bought myself some Merkury Optics UV, F-DL and Pl filter lenses and a set of Macro lenses as well as a Nikon SB-400 speed flash.
I have managed to get the hang of the camera fairly quickly and have managed some very good photo's but I still have lots to learn and hope to do that here.
