Hello all,
My name is Taylor, I am from Alberta Canada. I have lots of interest in fish (both in the wild and in aquaria) as well as interest in photography. I enjoy being in nature (which is the focus of my photography), usually camping, hiking, traveling, angling, fish-hunting, kayaking, snorkeling, etc. My intersts in the aquarium hobby include mostly Asian fishes (Catfish, Loaches, Anabantoids) , but also South American (Catfish, Cichlids) fishes.
Outside the hobbies of photography and fish-keeping, I am a high school student and am also in the process of learning Japanese and how to play the Ukulele. I am a frequent member of two other fish-related forums: AlbertaAquatica and loaches Online (members of which I have recognized here).
I'm not sure what category my camera (Canon G5) falls into, it must be point and shoot. I don't know much about the finer functions of cameras, but I greatly enjoy using mine and I hope to upgrade to a XTi soon (probably not until this time next year though!).
I guess that's it, I look forward to lots of learning on this site,
Taylor
