I finally noticed the little message at the top of the screen that says I should post in the intro forum, so here goes. I am a native Bostonian and have lived near the ocean for about 2/3rd of my life (Florida/California/Alaska), so water is almost always on my mind. Being stuck in southwest Ohio for the last 7 years is really starting to take its toll, so I've been looking putting in a koi pond.
That being said, I've liked oscars and piranha ever since I was a boy, so I've also been looking (not seriously) at building a lexan fresh water tank in the 150-200 gallon range (anything worth doing is worth OVERDOING, right?). This site seems like an excellent source for information, so I will probably be lurking for the most part.
