Hi there everyone,

My name is Anna and I am new to keeping fish.
I don't have any monsters yet, but if my Koi keep growing and survive the winter I wont be monsterless for long! :D

Anyhow, I live in in the East Kootenays BC, Canada. I currently have a 29gal tank with 4 angles(3black, 1grey), 1african ropefish(still a lil fella approx. 25cm long), 4 red-eyed tetras, 1 hi-fin rosy barb and 1 male and female betta. I also have 2 bowls with a pair(1.1) of Crowntail bettas in each.
Then outside I have around 10 reg. goldfish, 4 Shubunkins and 7 Koi(2 tigers, 2 butterfly, 2 blacks and a ?).

Oh, I almost forgot the 1 trout that I have living with the Koi and Goldfish. Don't know what kind it is, looks like a Rainbow to me. It is just as big as my Kois(meaning 4 inches or so).

In addition to the fish I keep and raise Poultry in all shapes and sizes(the breed list would be long, I better not post it unless anyone wants me to), together with Dexter Cattle and Horses.

Thats enough blabbering from me for now,

Anna

Hi Anna, welcome to the site! I have kept fish for many years now, but I am pretty new to monsters as well. I used to keep roosters until animal control made me give them to a farm. They thought I was fighting them.

I own about 13 roosters of different breeds at the moment, not counting this years youngsters that either go to the auction or the freezer. Then around 50-60 hens, peafowl, guineas, geese, ducks, quail, pheasants and pigeons. I would be every SPCAs nightmare if they had to come out and collect all my critters.
But I live on a farm outside of town so no one cares how many I got. The neighbours just think its cool!
