Im having a problem eith my JD'S. they hide all the time. It started when my RD'S spawened. have since got rid of them. they are now housed with one oscar one baby Rd and a common pleco. the tank is 150 so there is lots of room. when i last cleaned the tank they just dug new holes to hide in. i really like them and want them to come out more. any ideas?

My Jd is only a year old but I have noticed him going threw personality shifts. Sometimes hes a glass banger. Other times hes a big sissy.

I really think in the case with Jd's they need other fish swimming around to make himself feel safe. Plus im sure the RD arnt shy and they might intiminate him a bit. Escpecially if they got violent with him when they had spawned. If not, and you have room in your tank, you can always try a school of dithers. Giant danio work great but might get eaten sooner or later.
