hiding places for cichlids. a good idea?

If i provided my cichlids with more places to hide, would it make them less aggressive towards eachother?

depends on the size. my large SA don't even consider hiding places anymore when they are getting picked on. For africans...definitely

yeah that was what i meant by "less aggresive". i just didn't have a better way of saying it, but you worded it perfectly. thanks again guys

What are some good plants to put with, say a buffalo head? I have no experience with cichlids but will soon find out, and am curious about how they act around plants.

I'm used to goldfish, so it'll be nice to have a planted tank
