Just a fire eel today and was wondering what the best hiding place for him would be to get. Right now I have two decent sized rocks, but read this is not good because they will rub up against it and cut themselves, or something like that. So I was wondering what everyone else uses.

plastic tubes in driftwoods..or just drftwood is okay to...
:iagree: My eels just love their plastic pipes, but we're just fine with drift wood growing up. Now that they've all reached 20-26", they look a little ridiculous trying to hide behind it. (They don't hide a lot, but do like a retreat.) When I finally put their whole tank together, I'm going to try to work the pipes under and behind the wood.

yeah plastic tubes,small cave

okay then get us some pictures
