High ammonium levels

I just tested my water today and was alarmed to find out the ammonium at 2-4 is there anything else I can do except stop feeding them and do water changes?

I would do a 50% water change, then I would go back to the store and buy some Seachem Stability.
then 2 50% water changes daily until ammonia levels start to fall.

I agree, also if you have a friend with an established tank you could borrow some filter media or squeez the sponges from their filters into yours. Help get some BB colonies going..
