I have an arowana community 2 x rtg high back 1 banjar 1 green & 1 super red

my two rtg are showing signs of courting for the last week swimming tight to each other circling each other the male is keeping all the other arowana at one end of the tank

i am 99% sure they are male & female, the male has a much bigger mouth & throat they are both about 18 inch

anyone have any thoughts as have not read much about them being bred in aquarium & think it has not been done before here in england

also in the aquarium with them are 3 stingray, a datnoid, lima shovel nose & some geophagus

should i remove the other fish & leave just the pair?

Those signs could be just sizing each other up then aggression. My Large Silver Aros do this all the time and they're only 20" and no where near ready to breed. Also I heard with Asian Aros it's likely impossible to breed in a home aquarium tank.

defiantly not aggression, have been courting now for 2 weeks

very hard to breed asian aros but not impossible, check out you tube & type...'arowana breeding' & u will see that they can be bred in aquariums on rare occasions

The rays would be the first ones I move... I bet aro eggs are a healthy snack for them.

aro's are mouthbrooders so it would be difficult for the rays to get the eggs. but I would move the other fish if there is the possibility of them breading

LOL, you've never kept rays then. If the "female" actually popped eggs, those rays would be all over them before they even hit the bottom of the tank. The "male" wouldnt even get the chance to get the eggs into his mouth.
