Hi i just found two of these guys around 8-10 inches really nice looking fish for 39 a piece. Is that a high price and would these guys get along with gg's,o's,lima cats, and RCK??they seemed agresive.

Are you referring to Myxocyprinus asiaticus? They're not exactly loaches. What size is your tank and what fish are in it? These are not for home aquaria. Moreover, they will not tolerate warmer temperatures as these are subtropical species.

thats cheap. around 8-10 inches here in san diego IF AN WHENEVER they do pop up, are 90 a piece or 150 a pair. very very rare at the bigger sizes from what i've noticed.

Those is cyprinids, not loaches. You had me going for a second.

sorry the store called them high finned loaches and now the lfs owner told be i could buy the pair for 80.I have seen these guys before mixed with other monster fish in 80 degree water and looked great?so what temp do they prefer then?

they prefer koi water temps..........however mine is doing great :):)

hope you are well.........hows the cuban guy doing ???

the cuban is awesome.I put him in with like 50 other cichlids and he just mixed right in no probs, very strange not even a peck from anyone. So my tank in my window might be good for those high fins??
