first off i searched this and all that came up was ID sharks, NOW. this fish was listed as a high fin shark and the top fin is as tall as the body is long. It is white and has a light black stripe. any ideas? no pics i'm sorry
Since they grow so slow, I would probably start out with like a 75 gallon and upgrade as needed, but I think the final tank should be at least 300 gallons (8' x 2.5'w x 2'h).zpetrichko;3883351; said:that is it! thats really big! i was hoping he stayed a relatively decent size of 6-9 inches. looks like i have to wait! what is the typical size tank suggested for these guys?

Really? I've never heard of them getting that big, it would be awesome to have a 4'+ hi finblackghostuk;3883457; said:A bit bigger..........they can grow over 4 foot.
They're not really slow growers - they just get stunted easily in 'small' tanks, as they need a fast current and lots of oxygen.
They look totally different as adults.
