My flowerhorn pair seems like getting ready to lay egg anytime, they are with 4 other flowerhorns in a 75gal tank. The female keep push the others away from the spot she has been cleaning.
Question: Should I move the pair to another tank for them to lay egg? will the move inerrupt the bleeding conditions? Or should I move the others and leave the bleeding pair alone? What are the differences for each moving choice. Please help ASAP, as I have to make a quick choice, lots of thanks in advance

I would move the others. Moving the pair would be good also but then they will have to look for a new nesting site. Also they would have to get used to the new water parameters.

Its always best to allow the pair to lay and defend an egg site for the 1st time. then you could move them into another tank. If you move them before they lay eggs breaks up the bonding.
