High ph, quick question

So my water comes out of the tap at 7.5-7.6 I have added rocks to my aquarium which I did an acid test on and they seemed ok. My ph in my aquarium is steady at 8.0, my question is if I can empty my tank and add water with a neutral ph will the rocks level out at abt 7.4-7.5 or will it rise over 8 again?

Take a sample of your tap water and let it sit for 24 hrs. Test it and post the pH level. This will help determine if your pH is altered by anything in your aquarium.
