Nice. Can you write a how-to on this.

yeh very nice condiering that would use what 3-5 watts??

i dont know abou the cree bulbs but lumiled leds are suppose to last atleast 100,000 hours if driven at specs. thats like over 11 years before the bulb is suppose to go out. but i never follow specs and drive them a little harder. either way im probably never going to have to replace and bulbs

Nice... the Cree's are top notch. I havent seen many use these much yet since they are pricey. I am holding off on LEDs for a while yet, once there a little more efficient, little cheaper... for now T5HO is doing the trick ;). Looks great though!

Very nice work! What are you using as the power supply?

One word of warning on the UV LED. They can cause damage to a human eye if you look at them in a darkened room. Since the eye can't detect the UV band the iris doesn't close to account for the brightness of the light and it can cause damage if the LED is sufficiently bright. That's why the UV sterilizers are completely sealed. Just a word of warning that was passed on to me. Eye damage isn't instant either with most UV LEDs (maybe only the incredibly high-powered ones) so it's a function over time deal. Safety first after all.
