I saw a 5" jardini with silver gill plate, cheek and fins. The body is whitish/pale color but the tail color and pattern is that of the regular jar. The back is brown like a jar. The fish looks very similar to this fish on utube.

I did not get it and was unable to take a picture. It was labeled as pearl arowana. I was wondering if this is just a high shine jar?

Never heard of a high shine gar, but without anybody seeing the fish this thread is kinda useless. The jar in the video looks to be in a very well lit tank.

I will stop by again after work tomorrow and if they still have it, I will get it. I have not seen a jar looking very silvery. The majority of the jar that I see are brown, or dark colored.

i agree,if your tank is all white, and white lightings,im sure your jardini would be silvery white

I don't know, the fins, cheek and gill plate are shinning silver then some silver aro. I do understand about substrate and background, though. I holpe its still available by tomorrow afternoon.

yes, but the tail has more of the jar pattern and the 6th level scale or the back is not as light but rather brown.
