I have added up my total initial investment including current fish and plant prices on this tank and it comes out to about $4100. This tank has been established and running for about 16 or so months. I have the schedule perfect for this setup which took about 3 months of adjustments to figure out exactly what needs this tank has to run and flourish at its absolute 100% best. I am able to trim and sell 4 different species of plants every 2-3 weeks and 3 species every 5-6 weeks and the Anubius takes roughly 8-11 weeks to be able to sell trimmings. Essentially the tank is set up to pay for itself by selling plants and in this past year it has done very well at that with not one single algae outbreak or issue. I am moving in a couple weeks and unfortunately cannot bring it with me. I will have a set written schedule for the buyer with lighting, heating, aerating, fertilizing, etc. This is the most active life you will see in a tank everything is alive and FLOURISHING it is absolutely beautiful!!!
