What is the highest number of eggs ever produced in a single batch?

Name the type of fish,
And roughly how many eggs.

This is mine, 2" convicts with 380 eggs.

Pacu - Over 30 litres of viable eggs which I had to throw out. I hatched out about 40ml of eggs instead and still got over 6000 fry....

You breed a pair of Pacu? Any documentations on it or breeding reports?
I dont doubt that they could produce that much fry but it what size tank was it? Cheers

fishdance is the breeding master i think......seriouslly he breeds EVERYTHING.

A 10G is 37.8 Litres.

Also, with the 6000+ fry you had, were some of grown to be feeders?

that was a ruff estimate there.......would be abouot 3/4 of my tank.....ok lets get a little more accurate for you then about 8/10th's of a bare ten, and about 90% of it with substrate and a piece of decor in there


how did you collect all of these eggs? musta took quite some time!
