Right now I have a 950 gph pump pumping water thru a 1" tube. It makes quite a strong current in one area of the tank. My venustus seem to love it, they spend most of their days swimming against the current.
I have built a spray bar, but I'm second guessing putting it in there.
If I keep the setup like it is, should I feed the venustus more since they are expending so much energy? Does letting them swim against the current like that help with aggression allowing them to expend all that energy?
This is for my 6' 125 malawi tank.
3 venustus
3 yellow lab
3 Johanni
2 peacock
2 striped catfish
all fish are about 2" long, except the cats who are about 4" long
