hikari and cancer ingredient

i dont know where i saw this but im pretty sure i saw this on a thread here or another forum but what ingredient in hikari causes cancer?

I know there was a recall not quite a year ago on a whole bunch of HBH products, I don't know if that is related to what you are talking about or not.

Namely the particular African Cichlid Attack food I was using.

im not sure if it was related but the ingredient is known to cause cancer in humans so wouldnt it cause cancer in fish.

Almost every medicine that I've seen out there for fish has a warning label on it that says something like "this product contains an ingredient known to the state of California to cause cancer in humans". I'm glad I don't live in cali, since that's the only place it causes cancer apparently... Sorry if I'm derailing.

In Hikari food I have seen nothing of the sort. Formalin is an ingredient in anti-parasite medicine known to cause cancer. The ingredient that contaminated HBH foods was melamine.
